What is Onesimus?
This is a Christian youth project, whose target is to offer an adequate frame for the modern adolescents and youth. This frame consists of: making a community by knowing and developing their real identity, transmission of Christian values.
Target:
- Faith, the affirmation of Christian identity in Christ
- Take out the youth from virtual world (internet and media), learn them proper social interaction in the real world
- Activate the youth, assure them opportunity to step out from their comfort zone by different programs; to try themselves individually and in group equally by team-building and mentorship.
2 big categories of Onesimus project:
1. Building bridge over generations, integration, cooperation and development through regular activities
Women and men groups, Bible-study groups, praying communities, movie-night, society games and different evangelistic occasions
These activities take place weekly or every second week.
2. Meeting God by discovering nature
Creating possibilities for trips and excursions, which moves adolescents and offers challenge and community experience. The main target is to help the youth find God’s miraculous creations by discovering the nature’s beauties and treasures.
Trips are organised 4 times a year and at summer.
